BACHELOR OF DENTAL SURGERY (B.D.S)

Department has developed a structured curriculum for training both undergraduates and post-graduates according to DCI norms. The under-graduate training begins in Ist B.D.S with the aim of providing orientation to the different materials in dentistry. Pre-clinical IInd B.D.S curriculum is designed to orient students to clinical and laboratory skills. During clinical posting in IIIrd and IV B.D.S students are trained to treat partial and complete edentulous patients.

MASTER OF DENTAL SURGERY (M.D.S)

The department also offers a post-graduate training programme of 3 years, which is approved by DCI. The post-graduate programme is designed to prepare the students for a career in teaching, research and also for advanced training in rehabilitation of completely or partially edentulous patients along with the patients requiring maxillofacial prostheses. The academic schedule is designed to include seminars, journal club presentations, case presentations, symposium with dissertations.
